National Rally -
18th June 2017.
41st Rally is in delightful Derbyshire at the Bull i’ th’ Thorn
which is a large old public house with a caravan and camping field
at the rear. It is on the main A515 road from Ashbourne to
Buxton – approx 5 miles south of Buxton. There will be no
pre-booking as such BUT if you want to reserve a caravan / motorhome
pitch with electrical hook-up, then I need to know by 15th May so we
can allocate them. If you don’t book then we can’t guarantee a
hook-up will be available. There is no charge for pre-booking
but you may get charged if you don’t use it and it remains vacant.
Email or text Pete Edwards. (Pete’s contact details on page 17 of Torque Magazine.)
The pub serves a range of good food and there should be a burger van
on site when the pub is closed for food. There is another pub
nearby. The nearest petrol / supermarket is about 5 miles away
on the way into Buxton. Buxton also has a good shopping centre
with a wide selection of shops.
